The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 – 25B-D010N114 Variable Frequency Drive that provides 4.0 kW (5.0 HP) output in both normal and heavy duty. The device operates with a supply voltage of 480VAC, which is a three-phase power source. Thanks to this, it ensures reliability and efficiency in various industrial environments. It has an integrated RS485 and Dual Ethernet communication interface. It is capable of volts/hertz, sensorless vector control (SVC), closed loop velocity vector control and permanent magnet motor control.

The operation of this drive consists in applying the supply voltage to the ints input terminals with a voltage range of 380-480VAC, 3-phase. Provides output current and power to the motor. Output ratings are 0-460 VAC, 3-phase, with a current rating of 10.5 A and a power of 4.0 kW (5.0 HP).

For basic motor control, this drive can command a motor start/stop; Forward / Backward / Jog. Its output frequency can be changed to adjust the motor. The output frequency range of this drive is 0-500 Hz and is fully programmable. It implements speed regulation with a variety of selectable control methods such as Volts/Hertz, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), Closed Loop Speed Vector Control, and Permanent Magnet Motor Control. With these control methods, it is also possible to implement torque control.

The 22B-D6P0N114 has an integrated Human Interface Module (HIM) which has a number of built-in buttons such as Start, Stop, Forward, Reverse and Jog or Jog. It also has a circular dial connected to a built-in potentiometer that is used to modify the output frequency, which directly affects the speed of the motor. This HIM also has an LDC readout to monitor the operating status of the drive. In addition, this HIM has navigation and confirmation keys for configuring the drive.
