    The Allen-Bradley Flex I/O Series is an advanced line of input/output (I/O) modules designed for industrial automation. It enables precise data collection and remote device management.

    The Allen-Bradley Flex I/O Communication Module – 1794-ADN is an advanced component that allows the integration of various input/output modules into a control system. It is a 24 VDC DeviceNet communication module that connects input/output devices to the Devicenet network, facilitating efficient communication between them.

    The 1794-ADN not only provides the capability to connect multiple input/output modules to the Devicenet network but also allows monitoring of the status of these devices and transmission of data to a central control system. This enables effective management and control of various aspects of the industrial process. This module can handle up to 8 Flex I/O modules and offers communication speeds of 125 Kb/s, 250 Kb/s, and 500 Kb/s. Built-in status indicators facilitate monitoring of both input/output status and ModNet network.

    This interface module is compatible with a wide range of Allen-Bradley input/output modules, allowing flexible customization of the control system for specific application needs. It can be used in various industrial applications where effective integration and communication between input/output modules are required. The 1794-ADN model has an open enclosure and supports mounting on both DIN rail and panel. It is equipped with a DeviceNet port using a 5-pin or 10-pin linear plug. The module features special power and communication ports that utilize Category 1 and 2 cables.

    It has a current load of 400 mA at 24 VDC and a rated DeviceNet power of 24 V DC at 90 mA. This module operates at a 24 V DC input voltage with a maximum FlexBus output current of 640 mA at 5 V DC.
