Siemens Sinamics V20 3AC380-480V inverter – 6SL3210-5BE31-8UV0 is a basic frequency converter for simple motion sequences, which stands out for its short startup time, easy operation, robust design or energy-saving functions, offers an economical and simple drive solution for any installation. Siemens is adding a new, optimized housing size for Sinamics V20, FSAC frequency converters in the 1AC (AC) voltage range of 200V to 240V from 1.1 kW to 1.5 kW. The FSAC replaces the previous FSB frame (1AC 200V). The frame size of the V20 series has been reduced by 40% compared to the previous model, the compact frame size provides opportunities for flexible use and exceptional space savings. Thanks to the V20’s integrated interference filter, it allows safe use on public networks.
The standard converter is available in nine frame sizes, covering a power range from 0.12 kW to 30 kW. Innovations have also come to the Sinamics V90 servo series, where the smallest FSA frame size is now also available in a Profinet version for 0.1 and 0.2 kW, which are now covered by the FSB frame size. The Sinamics V90 servo drive is particularly suitable for highly dynamic applications.
With the Sinamics series update, full use is made of converter data through digitization, whether applied in virtualization and simulation, dimensioning and configuration, connectivity, data analysis or services, digitization provides access to more data from motors or converters providing increased efficiency and reliability in planning, operation and maintenance. Whether in the process or manufacturing industry, data from low-voltage motors and low-voltage converters is critical to maintaining a high level of reliability which directly translates into ensuring a high level of productivity. The SINAMICS CONNECT 300 IoT gateway provides a simple plug & play solution for connecting SINAMICS low-voltage converters directly to the cloud. It connects the SINAMICS V20 to MindSphere without any hardware or software changes – and up to 8 drives can be connected at once. These solutions enable optimized development processes, demand-driven maintenance planning and provide higher productivity.
With additional SINAMICS accessories such as the V20 intelligent access module, BOP operator panel, SINAMICS V20 BOP interface, I/O expansion modules, V20 brake module or parameter loader, you can make the SINAMICS V20 series inverter even more versatile in its application, further enhance the comfort of operation, handling or provide control assistance.
