Industrial automation technology requires a stable power supply. In the event of a temporary overload or short circuit, the power supplies shut down or significantly reduce the output current, following which the loads in the circuit are insufficiently supplied, which can result in unwanted production downtime.
Sleekly designed power supply for control box applications SITOP compact PSU100C – 6EP1331-5BA10 is designed to uniquely save power supply space in the circuit for the lower power range. Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for distributed applications in control boxes and smaller control cabinets. High reliability over the entire load range or very low no-load power loss make it extremely efficient.
With a width of 22.5 to 52.5 mm, the SITOP PSU100C requires up to 1/3 less space on a mounting rail than competing units in this class. A convincing feature of these 12-volt and 24-volt power supplies is their high efficiency over the entire load range. Power losses are extremely low which will work well, for example, to efficiently power machines and equipment that are running in standby mode. Up to 35% of energy can be saved. Switching power supplies have a wide-range input for AC / DC mains, with special plug-in terminals for simple electrical connection. The wide temperature range along with the certifications offer versatile application possibilities combined with the proven reliability of the SITOP series. To further increase availability, SITOP compact power supplies can be combined with modules DC UPS, redundancy i selectivity.
Due to their reliability, SITOP systems are used worldwide in critical network environments. No matter the business sector, no matter the need, a stable power supply is essential for efficient plant operation. SITOP was designed specifically for tasks in this field and has been the first choice for decades, setting the standard for integration, performance and reliability.
Performance for the SITOP system starts with a simple selection of devices in the TIA Selection Tool or engineering data for CAE or SIMATIC PCS 7 systems. Compact, efficient thermally optimized design saves necessary space during installation. With flexible inputs with a wide range, stable load maintenance and appropriate certifications, the SITOP series power supplies ensure maximum installation reliability. In addition, with uninterruptible DC power supplies, they can guarantee the safety of the system in case of power failures or additional modules against overloads or short circuits in the circuit. It is also possible to install a redundant power supply.
