The SIMATIC S7-1500 PM1507 – 6EP1333-4BA00 series stabilized power supply has been equipped with output overvoltage protection in the form of an additional control loop, and closed-loop control limitation with the appropriate parameters provided. Has an input voltage of 120/230V AC and an output voltage of 24V DC / 8 A. The 24V DC output voltage, which is limited to a maximum of 28V DC, prevents damage to 24V consumers, if the input voltage is too high then 50% “extra power” for 5 seconds per minute, compensates for short-term overloads, such as when switching on 24V consumers. Provides buffering for output power failures. The allowable safe input voltage range is 85-132V AC at the first input and 170-264V AC at the second input. The PM1507 version of the power supply does not have a wideband input.

This standard stabilized power supply unit supplies 24 V DC to S7-1500 system components such as the CPU, system power supply (PS), input/output circuits of input and output modules, and sensors and actuators as needed. It has one 1-phase input. The power supply indicates the operating status via LEDs. The start-up delay is a maximum of 1.5 seconds, and the voltage increase averages 10 ms.
